Henfryn Hall

There are a couple of pictures of schoolboys from Mia Hall in 1953, together with some of the Brothers - in the old photo galleries; picture No. 1063 & 1064. Click here

Gerald Jones remembers that during the wartime evacuation of children from Liverpool to Dyserth, many of them were Catholic and the Brothers at Mia Hall were responsible for seeing that they attended Mass. On one occasion a boy staying at Gerald’s house hid under the bed to avoid going to Mass but one of the Brothers dragged him out!
